We are back for round 3 of the STREETMEDIA SOCIAL!
After 2 years of fuck-ups and corrections, we are proud to say that this year will be the biggest yet.
If you have been with us for the last 2 years to see all of that, thank you. Thank you for helping us shape this event into something special for everyone.
Now we are back, bigger and badder than ever before, in one of the most iconic cities in the world for Parkour, independent fashion and art: BRISTOL.
WHAT IS THE STREETMEDIA SOCIAL?
The STREETMEDIA SOCIAL is our annual event, created firstly as a reason to gather the Parkour community in our home city of Sheffield, and to showcase the wide range of talent from the brands and artists and DJ's we are close with.
After our first two events, we saw the potential to grow the event further, expand out into different corners of the UK, and to recruit new creative talent.
The STREETMEDIA SOCIAL is more than a simple Parkour gathering. It is a way for our community to network, share ideas, showcase their creations, and have a weekend to remember. As a grassroots event, our aim is to give the creative talent we see every day from our community a space to display their works, and to promote up-and-coming talent.
The event consists of a street Parkour jam in an iconic UK city, pop-up market hosting select brands and artists, afterparty featuring our chosen music artists and DJ's, prize giveaways, and this year we will be running an exclusive raffle with clothing and accessories from brands such as STREETMEDIA and Storror to be won.
CHANGES TO THIS YEARS SOCIAL
We want to make the event this year as accessible as possible to all attendees. And so, this year we are running the event COMPLETELY FREE for attendees, with an option to purchase a VIP donation ticket if you choose to support our event financially.
Because we are running the event for free this year, we are unable to offer a sleeping location.

As well as this, this year is APPLICATION ONLY for pop-up shops. We encourage new and emerging brands and artists to apply, in hopes that we can play a part in providing exposure to those who deserve it.

THE POP-UP MARKET AND AFTERPARTY VENUE
This year, we are lucky enough to have access to one of Bristol's best creative hubs to host our pop-up market and afterparty: 395 Bristol (@threeninefive.bristol)
395's venue hosts events ranging from art displays, to parties, community gatherings, and more. Their space fits perfectly for displaying all kinds of art, from digital media to paintings. We encourage artists, videographers and photographers to apply today to have your creations and projects displayed at the SM SOCIAL. We have access to a large projector, and plenty of wall space to display prints and paintings. If you are an artist or creator and would like to display your works at the SM SOCIAL completely free of charge, please get in touch!
THE AGENDA
FRIDAY 25TH
The first day is simply a day for people to arrive in Bristol for a chill jam. No real agenda on Friday, so feel free to break off into groups and explore the many spots and challenges throughout Bristol! We will be on-site all day, taking notes on who could be winning giveaway prizes in our chosen categories.
There will no doubt be things going on in the evening, so keep an eye on the WhatsApp group chat for anything going on at night.


SATURDAY 26TH
This is the main event day. 3 iconic Bristol locations for the street jam, the STREETMEDIA SOCIAL's pop-up market with 6 chosen brands/artists, as well as art, photography and video exhibitions, followed by the OFFICIAL AFTERPARTY. We are also running a raffle to fundraise for the running of the event, with a selection of prizes to be won!
LOCATION 1 - 11:00 - 13:30 - CASTLE PARK
Easily the most well known and iconic Parkour spot in all of Bristol, we will be starting the day at Castle Park. Here we will let people gather, and will give everyone a chance to hear about the agenda for the day, including what prizes are on offer to be won.
Expect some big sends, power challenges and classic Bristol vibes at this location.
LOCATION 2 - 14:00 - 16:00 - SECRET SPOT
An alleyway seemingly made for Parkour, Secret Spot is tucked away in a corner of Bristol only a 10-minute walk from Castle Park. We've got a prize going for anyone who can complete a certain challenge here...
Offering lots of interesting challenges and flows, as well as a great space for chilling and watching shit go down.
LOCATION 3 - 16:30 - 18:00 - COLLEGE GREEN
An ideal location to finish the street jam, at another iconic Bristol spot. For those still with energy, there are some huge power challenges to be done here, with a bit of height for those who like a bit of consequence.
Surrounded by plenty of great food spots for those who want to grab a bite to eat before heading to 395 Bristol for the pop-up market, gallery and afterparty.
LOCATION 4 - 19:00 - 01:00 - 395 BRISTOL
395 Bristol is an independently owned community hub, offering an incredible space for events, displays, and more. This year, we have the privilege of using this space to host our pop-up market, art gallery and afterparty!
Our pop-up market will host 6 of our selected clothing brands or artists, where you can view and purchase exclusive creations.
Throughout the night, we will have works displayed around the venue from a variety of artists from within the community, ranging from paintings, to photography and video.
From 9:00pm the official afterparty 'BOUNCE OFF' begins.

REMINDER FOR THE AFTERPARTY
From 8:45pm, the venue is strictly only for ages 18+. A valid ID and event ticket will be required to remain in the building. Valid ID is a passport, driver's licence, or recognised ID card.

SUNDAY 27TH
This is the final day of the event! Sunday will consist of another chill jam day, with some water spots if the weather is good! People will likely be meeting up for breakfast at some of the best café's and restaurants in the country right here in Bristol!
After training and bridge jumping on Sunday, we will be handing out prizes to the chosen winners of our prize giveaways in the evening, followed by a group photo to finish.
